Readers\u00a0 may like to see the video clip of first test match of India and Pakistan in Delhi , in 1952 , with president Rajendra Prasad watching the match . It was well before the Army took over in Pakistan and 1965 war which General Ayub Khan started to deflect the ire of student agitation against him . Kashmir was always there but\u00a0 till 1965 but it never spoiled normal neighborly relations\u00a0 including trade and free movement of people\u00a0 across the borders . All these restrictions have harmed Pakistan more as is evident from high inflation in the current regime .<\/p>\n

Army derives its legitimacy to rule Pakistan and its unusual perks\u00a0 from the well orchestrated and perceived threat from India . But it is good to remember times when we were not enemies like now and hope for their return\u00a0 .<\/p>\n
