<\/a>For \u00a0long peaceful \u00a0race relations in UK , achieved by considerable Government Efforts , attack on Durga Temple and Hindu house holds in Leicester on 18 th September \u00a0came as a surprise to all . It started with a clash between a few young persons celebrating Indian victory over Pakistan in T 20 cricket match in August \u00a0. It further escalated to \u00a0attack on hindu houses and people by Pakistanis .Hindus held a peaceful protest march but were again attacked by Pakistanis . Earlier also Indian embassy was attacked several times by Pakistanis chanting pro separatist slogans on Kashmir .The Leicester temple attackers were not locals but had come from Birmingham a \u00a0Pakistani strong hold in UK . The attack on hindus were therefore premeditated and violence was not spontaneous but pre planned .<\/p>\nWhat should hindus do for their protection ?<\/p>\n
First \u00a0have trust in \u00a0Gandhi ji , stay peaceful and strictly follow the law ful procedure . Generally British judicial system is quite fair and public hates injustice and violence . But even British were jolted by Jinnahs Direct Action Day violence and hurriedly agreed to Partition so stoutly opposed by Gandhi ji .<\/p>\n
Violence got rewarded and it whetted Jinnah\u2019s appetite who attacked Kashmir by passing over the British chief of Pakistani army . Violence again got rewarded in Kashmir and Pandits\u2019 expulsion has not yet been reversed .<\/p>\n
In 1968 Enoch Powel MP of National Front had delivered his famous speech of \u2018Rivers Of Blood \u00a0after which skin head movement started against \u2018Pakis \u2018in which any Asian walking alone or small groups was attacked by head shaven White youths called \u2018skin heads \u2018. \u00a0Inspite of reasonably fair British police and courts \u00a0and many peaceful community efforts \u00a0, It finally ended \u00a0\u00a0only after the Sikhs decided to face it squarely by counter attacking such white hoodlums .It lead to race riots of 1981 and 1985 after which British government initiated several very successful measures which ultimately made UK a very tolerant and peaceful society . The important lesson is that \u00a0Asians did not get safety or \u00a0relief without defending themselves physically.
But this calm was broken by many terror attacks including infamous 2007 attack on Glasgow airport by a former NHS and \u00a0Pakistani origin muslim doctor Sabeel Ahmed .<\/p>\n
After a series of terror attacks the the British rather the entire European society got scared of Islamic terror and gave many concessions to muslims \u00a0.UK Police developed an intelligence system for prevention of major terror attacks \u00a0but here too muslims were given many concessions . Even today hindus claim that it is much more difficult to get land allotted for a temple but so many mosques have been permitted . Saudi Arabia funded many mosques and schools and developed a strong Islamic lobby globally including befriending ex PM Tony Blair. Except jews no other society had such cohesion and integration as available to muslims due to Ummah and Friday khutba in mosques .<\/p>\n
This appeasement \u00a0lead to many muslims accepting crime and violence as a way of life in UK too as also brought by Huntington in his famous book \u2018The Clash of Civilisations \u2018. In UK , with just \u00a04 %population \u00a0\u00a013724 muslims are in prison ( 18%) compared to just 329 under trial but not sentenced \u00a0hindus , 1 % of jews , Buddhists \u00a0and Sikhs . Since 2002 muslims in jails have increased from 8 % to 18% .Appeasement of criminals \u00a0never pays or solves problems but police every where is judged by \u2018peace \u2018 and often prefers peace over \u00a0justice .<\/p>\n
Peaceful , better educated and more successful Hindus in UK will come under increasing attacks by ISI supported frustrated , poorer and less educated Pakistani muslims \u00a0and some incident like mass rapes in Germany by Syrian refugees on Christmas in 2016 cannot be ruled out . ISI has penetrated Sikh gurudwaras and may get some Khalistani supporters in the name of avenging Operation Blue Star \u00a0. While Indian government will try to solve it diplomatically but one Kashmir type exodus will be repeated all over the world . RAW has to step in now and trace kingpins of this jihadi \u00a0movement and assist British government in giving exemplary punishment to perpetrators of Leicester violence . Appeasement or soft pedaling of criminals \u00a0will only create an uncontrollable \u00a0Frankenstein later .<\/p>\n
But ultimately hindus have to defend themselves rather than giving jihadis a walkover . Richer and educated communities like hindus or jews cannot easily \u00a0become violent but some preventive methods have to be found by the community .
