Why blame Muslims for loss of Hindu Culture & Traditions in India?<\/div>\n

In our Muslim homes, when a child starts walking, he learns to hold his father’s finger and go to the mosque for prayer, and continues that practice as a duty throughout life.<\/div>\n
But your people have stopped going to temples.<\/div>\n
Even if you go, it’s only for 5\u201310 minutes, and that too only to ask for something or seek relief from troubles.<\/div>\n
So if your children grow up not knowing why they should go to temples, what they should do there, or that worshipping God is their duty \u2014<\/div>\n
how are we MUSLIMS responsible for that?<\/div>\n

When your convent-educated children recite English poems, you feel proud.<\/div>\n
But truly, you should have felt proud if your children recited the Navkar Mantra, Gayatri Mantra, or some respectful shlokas.<\/div>\n
On the contrary, when they cannot recite anything from your traditions, you don\u2019t even feel regret or guilt!<\/div>\n
In our homes, a father’s head bows in shame if his child can\u2019t recite a simple prayer in front of relatives.<\/div>\n
We teach our children to greet elders with “Salaam” as soon as they learn to speak.<\/div>\n
You\u2019ve replaced “Pranam” and “Namaste” with “Hello” and “Hi.”<\/div>\n
Are we to blame for that?<\/div>\n

A boy from our Muslim religion, even after studying in a convent, learns Urdu and Arabic and reads our holy scriptures.<\/div>\n
But your child neither goes to a Hindu pathshala nor learns Sanskrit \u2014 and even proper Hindi is difficult for him. They cannot even count in Hindi.<\/div>\n
or in any other mother tongue.<\/div>\n
Is that our fault too?<\/div>\n

You had everything \u2014 culture, history, traditions!<\/div>\n
But you gave them up in a blind race for (so-called) modernity.<\/div>\n
We didn\u2019t. That\u2019s the only difference.<\/div>\n
You yourselves have abandoned your roots!<\/div>\n
We ( Muslims) didn\u2019t leave ours in the past, and we\u2019re not willing to leave them now either.<\/div>\n

Modern Hindu mothers do not follow basic \u0935\u094d\u0930\u0924 like \u090f\u0915\u093e\u0926\u0936\u0940, \u0938\u0902\u0915\u0937\u094d\u0920\u0940 at home & they themselves can not recite<\/div>\n
(by heart) \u0930\u093e\u092e\u0930\u0915\u094d\u0937\u093e \u0939\u0928\u0941\u092e\u093e\u0928 \u091a\u093e\u0932\u0940\u0938\u093e or even simple evening prayers like \u0936\u0941\u092d\u0954\u0915\u0930\u094b\u0924\u0940 or \u0936\u093e\u0902\u0924\u093e\u0915\u093e\u0930\u092e etc So .. how can these modern hindu mothers teach their children these basic Hindu prayers?<\/div>\n
Therefore the Hindu cultural tradition is slowly getting lost.<\/div>\n

The awareness to protect one\u2019s identity should naturally exist in every living community.<\/div>\n
But in your case, you have to *tell* YOUR people to stay awake.<\/div>\n

from where does this fear of losing your Hindu culture arise?<\/div>\n
What\u2019s the real cause of your insecurity?<\/div>\n
Are *we* MUSLIMS that cause?<\/div>\n

In the same way, others in your society also behave just like you \u2014 with the same double standards and hypocrisy.<\/div>\n
That\u2019s why no one listens to anyone in your Hindu Society<\/div>\n

Hindu married women have not only stopped covering their heads with their saree pallus, they\u2019ve even stopped wearing sarees altogether\u2026 even the dupatta has disappeared.<\/div>\n
Who stopped them?<\/div>\n
We didn\u2019t lead you to this decline\u2026 We Muslims are not responsible for it.<\/div>\n

Look how half dressed\u00a0 Hindu girls & women parade in TV serials & programs.<\/div>\n
Why are they not properly dressed?<\/div>\n

The tilak and bindi used to be Hindu identity, right?<\/div>\n
You used to consider a bare forehead as inauspicious, a sign of sorrow or misfortune.<\/div>\n
Now, most Hindu Women have stopped applying tilak before leaving home in pursuit of modernity and fashion, trying to look more “forward”. Some have even abandoned the bindi.<\/div>\n
Where are Muslims at fault here?<\/div>\n

Traditional Hindu sacred ceremonies like marriages and engagements have been corrupted\u00a0 with indecent pre-wedding rituals… (which are not a part of Hindu Vedic marriage rituals).<\/div>\n
Birthdays and anniversaries have been turned into Western-style celebrations.<\/div>\n
Is this our fault?<\/div>\n
