President Trump feels that India is not grateful enough .<\/p>\n In old days countries like India, with per capita income of $ 3000 compared to $ 75000 OF USA ,were given supportive treatment by developed countries . But now it almost appears pre historic era with USA demanding its pound of flash in Shylock style .<\/p>\n There is yet another angle to the debate which was so well articulated by our EAM Jaishankar . Europe’s imports from Russia were about $ 36 billion in 2024 most of it being energy products . Turkey , a NATO country’s imports from Russia were about $58 billion in 2022 most of\u00a0 it being\u00a0 oil and gas .
