\nCipla.
\nAurobindo Pharma.
\nLupin.
\nDivi\u2019s.
\nZydus.<\/p>\n
All have 20-35% foreign ownership.<\/p>\n
Third point.
\nMedical insurance companies.<\/p>\n
Most are joint ventures.
\nOr foreign-controlled.<\/p>\n
Niva Bupa.
\nHDFC ERGO.
\nICICI Lombard.
\nBajaj Allianz.
\nTata AIG.
\nReliance.
\nAditya Birla.
\nACKO.
\nGo Digit.<\/p>\n
Foreign stakes range from 26% to 67%.
\nSome are now allowed to go up to 100%.<\/p>\n
Now connect the triangle.<\/p>\n
Hospitals inflate bills.
\nPharma supplies premium medicines.
\nInsurance collects premiums.<\/p>\n
Insurance is mandatory at work.
\nInsurance is sold aggressively on TV.
\nFear is the marketing strategy.<\/p>\n
Then illness strikes.<\/p>\n
A bypass surgery in 2010 cost \u20b92.5-3 lakh.
\nIn 2025, it costs \u20b96-10 lakh.
\nThat is a 150\u2013200% jump.<\/p>\n
Bed charges rose faster.
\nICU rates exploded.<\/p>\n
Nearly 60-70% of claims face,
\ndeductions or rejection.<\/p>\n
The rest?
\nPaid by savings.

But doctors rarely prescribe them.

The ecosystem protects itself.

So where does the middle class go?

They pay tax.

This is not healthcare anymore.
