\nI’ve never made a fortune, and\u00a0 it’s probably too late now.
\nBut I don’t worry about that much,\u00a0 I’m happy anyhow.
\nAnd, as I go along life’s way, I’m\u00a0 reaping better than I sowed.
\nI’m drinking from my saucer,\u00a0 ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.
\nHaven’t got a lot of riches, and\u00a0 sometimes the going’s tough!
\nBut, I’ve got loving ones\u00a0 all around me, and that makes me rich enough.
\nI thank GOD for\u00a0 his Blessings, and the Mercies HE ‘s bestowed.
\nI’m drinking\u00a0 from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.
\nI remember times\u00a0 when things went wrong, My faith wore somewhat thin.
\nBut, all at once the dark clouds broke, and the sun peeped through\u00a0 again.
\nSo, LORD , help me not to gripe, about the tough rows I\u00a0 have hoed.
