However, faith does not entirely convey all that is purported to be conveyed by\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>. It is a spiritual, divine\u00a0accomplishment, never inspired or goaded by academic excellence or knowledge of any variety.\u00a0<strong id=\"yui_3_13_0_ym1_1_1388212468888_2512\">It is awakened when the Eternal, Immutable within us is signalled by the Eternal, Immutable out of us.\u00a0<\/strong>Then a subtle, divine, spiritual bridge of communion is created marking the advent of\u00a0<em>Sraddha \u00a0<\/em>and simultaneous suspension of scepticism. It has to do everything with the spiritual verities hidden within all of us that can never be examined or proved scientifically. These are sublime and perceptible to the eligible ones through certain subtle means and not through laboratory instruments. Our inner, subtle being is separated from &#8216;us&#8217; through a certain veil of egoism and this veil can be dissolved only through spiritual means. Logic is too immature before\u00a0<em id=\"yui_3_13_0_ym1_1_1388212468888_2513\">Sraddha \u00a0<\/em>even to stand before it, leave alone competing with it. A logician may dub it purely intuitive which may be acceptable in the short run to it&#8217;s greater understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Adoration is the most proximate word available in English when we ponder over<em>Bhakti<\/em>. However, it does not entirely convey all that\u00a0<em>Bhakti \u00a0<\/em>does.\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>\u00a0 is essentially\u00a0<em>Sraddha\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0in action. If\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is philosophy,\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is it&#8217;s manual of religion. For a Grammarian, if\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is an Abstract Noun,\u00a0<em>Bhakti\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0is it&#8217;s Verb. For a\u00a0<em>Samkhyayogi<\/em>, if\u00a0<em>Sraddha\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0<em>Purusa<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is His\u00a0<em>Prakrti<\/em>. While\u00a0<em>Sraddha \u00a0<\/em>is independent of\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>\u00a0can never survive without\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0i.e.\u00a0<em>Bhakti \u00a0<\/em>without\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is worthless.\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0may be regarded as plenitude of\u00a0<em>Bhakti<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>lntellect is the most proximate word available in English when we ponder over<em>Buddhi<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>\u00a0 carries within itself several attributes and intellect happens to be one of them.\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is the faculty of rationality, a logical one that struggles to identify truth through the means of evidence and sound reasons.\u00a0Buddhi \u00a0emanates from the same Eternal, Inner Being from where\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0 arises. However, it is so mystical that through the means of\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>, one can arrive at the Eternal, Inner Being while through the means of\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>, one arrives on the plane of arrogance, self-deception and egoism followed by imperceptibility of the Eternal, Inner Being ultimately. Tendency to rationalise every event logically including spirituality, is innate in human\u00a0psyche. Pursuit of spirituality very well accounts for that but with a rider. Beyond a certain point, rationality and intellect must cease to exist, must surrender\u00a0to the existence of\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0 alone.\u00a0<strong>Beyond the point, the Eternal, Inner Being must be probed into through the means of itself !! Only when intellect goes mute, do we listen to the whispers from Eternity<\/strong>, that we have been striving for all these years. When intellect is harnessed effectively, it turns out to be the potent instrument to attain the Eternal, Inner Being hidden within us, notwithstanding it&#8217;s limitations. Thus, intellect is an instrumentality of\u00a0<em>Sraddha\u00a0<\/em>severely limited in scope and extent when it come to the Infinite.<\/p>\n<p>Mind is the most proximate word available in English when we ponder over\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>. As with Faith and Intellect, Mind too is incapable of conveying the entire purport that\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0 conveys.\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is always unrestrained to begin with, highly imaginative and wanderlust among objects of enjoyment. When exceedingly simplified, mind may be identified as the great grand child of the great grand sire that\u00a0<em>Buddhi\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0is !! Intellect and mind are rational and irrational, restrained and unrestrained, disciplined and undisciplined, wise and ignorant respectively, aspects of one&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Cetana<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0 turgid with thoughts becomes\u00a0<em>Manas.<\/em>\u00a0When it contemplates, it becomes\u00a0<em>Citta<\/em>. When\u00a0<em>Mana\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0is goaded to take rational decisions, it becomes\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>\u00a0! So,\u00a0<em>Buddhi \u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0 are essentially same. When\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is weighed upon by &#8216;I&#8217; sense, it becomes\u00a0<em>Ahamkara<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0 holds a tremendous faculty of activism which proves to be a highly effective tool in the hands of<em>Buddhi<\/em>\u00a0 when restrained and disciplined. When\u00a0<em>Buddhi \u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Mana\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0join hands, function harmoniously to explore the Eternal, Inner Being, cosmic journey to the Ultimate is profoundly facilitated. An introverted, harnessed\u00a0<em>Mana \u00a0<\/em>is yet another<em>Buddhi \u00a0<\/em>leading to wisdom and awakening of the highest order. Such a\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0 does not carry any baggage, stands liberated from subtle vanities. This<em>\u00a0Mana \u00a0<\/em>assists us in understanding deeper to the deepest realms of\u00a0<em>Cetana<\/em>\u00a0 by virtue of it&#8217;s activism.\u00a0<strong><em>Anahat Cakra<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is the abode of dwelling of\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>. This\u00a0<em>Cakra<\/em>\u00a0is lotus shaped with eight petals and\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0is located at the stalk of lotus. Each petal holds a different quality that revolving\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0experiences sequentially.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_13_0_ym1_1_1388212468888_2518\"><em>Mana \u00a0<\/em>being pulsation of\u00a0<em>Cetana<\/em>,\u00a0enhances and strengthens\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Buddhi \u00a0<\/em>enhances and strengthens\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0 while\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0 enhances and strengthens wisdom and higher attainments. From\u00a0<em>Sraddha<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0arises\u00a0<em>Bhakti\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0while from\u00a0<em>Buddhi<\/em>, arises\u00a0<em>Mana<\/em>.
