Snakes In Ganga : Breaking India 2.0 by Rajiv Malhotra ; Book Release in Vivekanand Foundation

After two years of forced isolation due to Covid , I attended the function in Vivekanand International Foundation for the launch of a book ‘Snakes In Ganges, Breaking India 2.0 ‘ of Rajiv Malhotra by Arif Mohammed Khan , governor of Kerala .
Rajiv Malhotra was a computer scientist who after earning several hundred crores of rupees in USA turned to promote Indian cause by countering the anti Indian narrative . His first book ‘Breaking India ‘ on promoting divisive forces in India by diversion of funds sent from west was a classic and an eye opener. This book deals with new methodology in which Harvard University is the hub and NYT , Washington Post etc are lead players in Breaking India campaign . Unfortunately they are being assisted actively by selfish Indians and inadvertently by our indutrialists who donate millions to get just good name in USA . Selfish and anti national Mir Zaffers , promoted by west, have written books and articles say calling IIT as casteist Iyenger Iyer Technology , or produced a theory that slavery was imported by USA two hundred years back from caste system in India , ignoring history of Spartcus , Moses etc . Some US universities have fallen prey to this propaganda .These Indians enjoy the temporary glory and spot light , reminding me of Ayn Rand novel character Toohey played so well by Western media .
These misguided Indians , apart from articles, are collecting and uniting all discarded fringe elements LGBT , religious minorities , ultra feminist women groups who call themselves as ‘ child bearing humans’ and promote unisex toilet etc in a mutual support programme.‘. Chinese have penetrated US university totally by big donations . They allow them to criticize provided in a quid pro quo good articles about China are also written . Just Like OIC , US universities never attack Communist party . In contrast some of our new universities have fallen in western trap like Asoka University , Piramal university etc .Our open democratic but divided society makes us very vulnerable for balkanisation . In the funeral of queen Elizabeth recently one speaker openly asked India , Zimbabwe etc to be recolonized by UK . UK has the know how and USA has the means and together they can do it by just ten billion dollars ! China , Pakistan are short term dangers . The big danger are the neo colonialist . Democratic India has to find a new effective method to promote our unity and our education system has to be a new weapon to counter the foreign inspired and promoted divisiveness .
Indian donors need to learn it from China . In a 600 page book references alone are about 65 pages .

Mohammed Arif Khan speech was a sheer delight . I would rank it amongst the finest speeches I have heard .It could put best of Sanskrit scholars to shame . His mastery over sanskrit shlokas of Gita , Puranas , Vivekananda etc was surprising . He used them more deftly than even Gandhiji to present current problems in sanatan perspective . .
I had met him about ten years back in a seminar in which he criticised tolerating separate category in IPC for muslims in Shah Bano case while we are talking about unified civil code.
Although he was in wilderness then , he finally found his belief being valued by more adversaries in RSS .
I am glad that he is a governor now and will love to hear him more .
The event was worth the two year long waiting .
