How Arab Dogmatic Stubbornness Has Harmed Palestine People and Defeated Sincere Efforts of American and Other Friends : क्या अरब हठधर्मिता ही पलेस्टाइन के लोगों के दुखों का कारण है ?

Plight of Palestine people, in last seventy five years, has been a cause of global concern .It has been a permanent source of violence in middle east which has also been the original principle cause of Islamophobia world over . Many countries , notably America has made sincere efforts to solve the problem but the rigid dogmatic stubbornness of Arab and some other Islamic countries has not let any peace plan succeed. With each decade and confrontation Palestine people have been left poorer and more aid dependent .
Unlike Palestine , there are many examples of seven million displaced people finding a new life in a different place in a different country. Partition of India in 1947 caused a tragedy of similar magnitude for both hindu/sikhs as well as muslims . But once refugees ,Indian Sikhs are today a very rich community in India . Neither they nor any one else considers them refugees and tragedy has been long forgotten. Indians shamefully displaced by Idi Amin from Uganda are a well settled and fairly rich community in UK without much international assistance .
So why only Palestine people are still a refugee community surviving on alms and international aid often in make shift accommodation in several countries, for so long ?
The sole reason for this plight of Palestine people is an unreasonable dogmatic stubbornness of Arabs and other Islamic countries which has not allowed the problem to be solved.
The country of Israel was created along with Palestine in 1948 under a UN resolution with predefined area under each nation and Jerusalem as a common area under international control. It was based on Belfour declaration of 1917. Its absolute necessity can be judged from the fact that in 1930s jews wanted to flee from Germany to escape massacre but had no place to go .
Most of the world’s national boundaries have been created by victors in wars or colonial powers . Defeat of Ottoman empire in first world war in 1914, winning wars over Christians etc , gave UK an opportunity to reshape the world . The Ottoman empire itself was created by muslims by winning various wars largely over Christians and they too were not generous in victory after war. The plight of Jews , displaced from their home land in Jerusalem , leading a stateless peoples life , repeatedly expelled from many countries, moved many liberals in Britain . Modern Zionist movement, which started in 1897, was a very justified movement as proved by subsequent events including the shameful holocaust under Hitler in 1930s in which international companies vied to create cheapest way of killing jews en masse.
If UN solution was accepted Palestine nation would have got 45 percent land against about 20 percent it is having today . The partition would have been absolutely peaceful and the two countries would have lived as neighbours, at worst as hostile neighbours, like India and Pakistan . The dispute about 4650 sq kms of Ngev desert was not worth losing a Palestine state. Pragmatic Congress party in India , in contrast , accepted partition in 1947 , much against its wish, rather than delay independence after Direct Action Day.
A united Arab Liberation Army of all Arab countries attacked the newly declared state of Israel on 15 th may 1948 itself i.e. the very first day of new Jewish state. Arabs army lost badly . It led to migration of 700000 Palestine people from Israel controlled area. Arabs again attacked in 1967 six days war .Victorious Israel occupied west bank , Gaza strip, Golan heights, Sinai penisula of Palestine / Syrian / Egypt. Israel now had 77% of total land. Arabs again attacked in 1973 and lost badly.
In 1948 Jordan ( called Transjordan ) had occupied West Bank and offered to settle Palestine people there . Egypt had captured Gaza strip . Here too Palestine people had settled . In 1970 a war broke out between PLO and Jordan and Palestine people were expelled from Jordan too. Pakistani army alone killed 25000 Palestine people with Brig Zia Ul Haq as commander who later became the president of Pakistan .
So really ,if a pragmatic Arab league had realised in 1948 that a victorious super power like Britain cannot be defeated on negotiation table and accepted the creation of Israel , Palestine would have been a sovereign nation with double the area and with Jerusalem as a UN territory . Now Arabs will never get it .
This unrealistic hope of winning some day made them fight so many wars and with each war Palestine people lost more and more . If Oslo accord so carefully negotiated by President Clinton was given a fair chance with tolerance and trust on both sides , Palestine Authority would have gained . But Palestine people will suffer indefinitely but keep on fighting like Afghans with same disastrous consequences.
Middle East is a Israel – Palestine problem . It has to be solved as per international law .Muslims globally cannot support Palestine on religious Ummah consideration . If muslims countries unite and support terrorist attack of Hamas , on Ummah consideration, the rest of the world will unite against Islamic Terrorism on ‘ Non Muslim Unity ‘ consideration as in Crusade days . Wise Islamic countries and OIC must unequivocally condemn Hamas attack and support its decimation. PA authority should get control of Gaza also and move for a permanent
peaceful living with neighbouring .
But common sense is so uncommon in that area .
