Why Bharat Must Massively Rally Behind Baba or Even Lala Ramdev and Patanjali : A Case Of Pot Calling The Kettle Black
At the onset I must admit that I am neither a fan of Baba Ramdev nor of Over activist Courts crossing their traditional limits . I firmly believe all constitutional institutions and national celebrities must display mutual respect in public . The comment ‘ we will rip you apart’ made by a judge during this case , betrays an extraordinary bias of the judge , not only against Baba Ramdev but against the entire traditional hindu culture. As far as Coronil medicine is concerned Baba Ramdev might might be wrong but not insincere .
Mahatma Gandhi was opposed to injections and wanted to treat Kasturba without them . Trump in USA , Bolsonaro of Brazil and Boris Johnson of UK did not take vaccine shot . Trump and Bolsonaro supported hydroquinone much against their medical council advice. It is just a case of exercising their moral authority based on their judgement .
However after protecting the constitutional status of Supreme Court , in this case , after the unconditional apology and personal appearance , further humiliation of Baba Ramdev is not only against our national interests but could even be a long term foreign inspired project of denigrating Indian values and culture just like the arrest of Shankaracharya on Diwali in Tamilnadu while in spite of scores of complaints and cases against Shahi Imam of Delhi , he is never arrested. Dr. Subramanian Swamy had hinted of the involvement of some Germans in the arrest of Shankaracharya. Time will reveal the real culprits of Ramdev saga where Supreme Court took cognizance of an anonymous complaint which is not normally done by CVC even.
It may be argued that Baba Ramdev has moved away from his core strength of Yoga teacher . His advisors and friends made him into a brand and exploited his name by launching useless non medical items like Chat and even threatened to make jeans ! His business associates converted him from Baba to Lala Ramdev ! He even became a common man’s economist , promoting Swadeshi often erroneously as in case of Black money vs its solution in demonetisation .
But it must be understood that in spite of his human follies , he served the masses so well that he became a symbol of Indian cultural renaissance just like the serial Ramayan and Mahabharat in 1980/ 90’s which ultimately led to rise of BJP. His symbolic unifying value is hurting anti nationals and the current campaign to ultimately bring Ayurveda and Homeopathy under ‘ black magic ‘ category , may be the real objective. They may succeed just as they succeeded in eliminating Bhajans and Raag based music in Bollywood after just one murder of Gulshan Kumar .
Financial superpowers and misdeeds of international Pharma companies are too well known . After two decades of promotion and sale, Statins are now regarded as useless or even harmful . Coca cola , Bournvita , chocolates ,red wines etc have harmful effects yet they are never publicised. Drugs are phenomenally overpriced .
So hard hit the only credible challenger ie Baba Ramdev , all shades of anti national and anti hindu organisations will pool their might to kill this symbol and mouth piece of ‘ Swadeshi Pride’ .
Nation must not only rally fully behind Baba Ramdev but all legislative corrections should be started along with an NIA inquiry to unearth the international conspiracy behind this regrettable episode which will haunt our conscience for a long time.
