Should India Hit At ISI’s Main Source Of Income , The Drug Trade ?

ISI’s main source of income is not the official budget allocation but its control over the massive Drug trade . It is estimated that ISI earns around $ 30 – 40 Billion dollars from this trade which is far more than Pakistan’s exports or inward remittance . This money is used to fund all nuclear research , bombs and payment for other illegal weapons . In addition Pakistan provides and controls global money laundering which drug lords of Mexico , Columbia and other countries find very useful . Also Hawala trade is dominated by Pakistanis which make then favourite or partner of politicians all over the world and may be the real secret of Dawood and his agents real power .
Use of forbidden methods to fund forbidden campaigns is not only common in West but is also Western invention . ISI’s former Chief Asad Durrani , once in a TV interview by possibly BBC or Al jajeera stated that French and other intelligence agencies are much more involved in it . But with BCCI and large number of Heroin refining factories at Pak Afghan border .
Currently the best source book on the subject are Iqbal Malhotra’s books Bomb , Bank and Mullah and Jihad . Hawala and Crystal Meth . His interview on You Tube is more revealing and informative on Pahalgam than the routine propaganda videos . My feeling is that time has come to hit the Pakistan’s ISI main source of income . It will not be able to get enough fund allocation from regular budget allocation . But it has to be done without coming to war with the other big players in drug market because we are too small to stop it and do not know which are the other countries operating in this area .We cannot do it in a way as to attract FTFA or other such bodies . It is a very challenging task but needs to be studied .
