Excellent Speech By PM Modi in Israel Knesset : Compares With 2016 Speech In US Congress , Will Have Far Reaching Benefits

Prime Minister Modi is a good orator in Hindi but his English speeches are not remembered as well . Yet one of his best speeches in English was his first speech in US Congress in 2016 which was delivered so well that it received standing ovation from congressmen fifteen times and there were several rounds of applauses . It helped in turning the mood of Congress in favour of India . Its effects were also far reaching . In 2015 US India trade was only 66 Billion dollars but it rose to 146 billion dollars in 2025 with India having a surplus of 53 billion dollars .
PMs speech in Israel Knesset on 25 th February was also very well delivered both in content and delivery . The key difference PM understood was Israel’s need for a stable , durable friendship , supporting its security needs and recognising its creativity but utilising it for mutual benefit. He emphasised on those points only not highlighting the transactional nature of trade or arms sale but on eternal links and usefulness. This too will have very far reaching benefits for both the countries.
