Scientists Aren’t Leaving ISRO For Money, But Due To Bureaucratisation: Fmr ISRO Chief | I Witness – YouTube

India is about to lose the best organisation of the country. Out of  fear , the serving chiefs are not able to resist Babu’s interference in ISRO working  as also in Army . Babus are the most unwanted creatures in research , scientific and Technical bodies . Yet they are spreading their tentacles due to clueless ministers who are dependent daily on their nearest Babu for advice unlike Pandit Nehru who had trusted friends like Homi Bhabha , Mahlanobis etc in all communities . Former ISRO chief Madhvan Nair’s warning should be taken seriously by the government .

Babus have a way of capturing any lucrative body . They declare Chairman’s post as secretary but keep same person as Chairman for a few years . But other lower level  babus are now given entry in the system . Finally Secretary is appointed from Babus . and Chairman is reduced to just a clerk in ministry.

How insensitive Babus can be to ISRO type organisations was demonstrated by withdrawing a twenty years old increment granted to scientists on the day of moon landing . The day was chosen to rub ISRO Chairman’s nose in sand .  Same was done to Armed forces in One rank one pension case where till PM came down with a heavy hand the  OROP was not implemented . Gen VK Singh’s false case of false mutiny / coup is another such case .

Another methodology is to give dog a bad name before hanging , Ayodhya chanda chori is another such case . It is an unconfirmed rumoured that some big Babu wanted to grab CEO post which was not required at all . A temple is not a company . Travancore Maharaja has kept treasures of Padmanabhan temple  for generations .

In the last few years many independent organisations have been eaten by Babushahi like Medical Council , Planning Commission , Railways etc . Now the next targets are the academic institutions like Universities , IITs etc which will fall to Babus as Directors or Vice Chancelors will be Babus not academicians .

The problem is that Babus do not know what fuels creativity ? Routine / Precedence / Hard Discipline are all poison for creativity . 3 M, an innovation based company learnt it much earlier . Baburaj is a sure key of destruction of  India’s future . Babus gladly offer Privatisation as a golden remedy as Private company lines up for orders and ultimately fills every ones coffers. ISRO /HAL/ GTRI/BARC  cannot compete with private sectors and will be put on chopper slowly. Elon Musk or Amazon space ventures have come after NASA reached pinnacle of success . India is just starting . We need an independent centres of excellence like ISRO/ HAL/GTRE etc.

It is time Government stops its total  dependence  on Babus and give Scientific and Technical bodies a chance to take India to next level in new technologies by reaching out to other successful people . It will be a slow pace as west will put all obstacles including misuse of CBI/ ED / RAW /IB as seen in the now notorious case of Nambi Natrayan, to prevent India in becoming self sufficient .

Will the Government take Madhvan Nair’s advice seriously to save ISRO rather than holding a Danda which will destroy the organisation ?

Centre has directed Isro centres not to accept resignation or voluntary retirement requests from Group ‘A’ scientific and technical personnel associated with Gaganyaan and other key missions, according to an internal document issued on July 14, accessed by India Today.

The memorandum further adds that all requests for resignation and retirement will now be referred to the Department of Space.

What led to this move?

As per media reports, this move from the Centre comes after around 100 scientists submitted their resignations.

While the Department of Space has not officially disclosed the number of departures, the Times of India reported multiple Isro sources have stated that between 100 and 120 scientists may have resigned in recent months.

Nearly 80 scientists have left the UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Karnataka’s Bengaluru, while around 20 departures have been reported from the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, per the report. While sources confirmed 100 resignations, they added that the number could be around 120, TOI reported.
