Muslim candidate contests from SC (Reserved) Seat in West Bengal’s Parliamentary Elections : इस गैर कानूनी हरकत का पुरजोर विरोध आवश्यक है

Subject: Muslim candidate contests from SC (Reserved) Seat in West Bengal’s Parliamentary Elections

It is illegal and immoral for a Muslim to contest from a SC (Reserved) Seat – which is meant for genuine SC Hindus only. 

 

Even the Hon. Supreme Court has refused to provide SC benefits to SC Converts to Islam.

 

Yet this travesty is going unchallenged in Arambagh (SC reserved) constituency of Hooghly district (West Bengal).

 

Here are the illegal candidature details of Mrs. Afrin Ali (formerly Aparupa Poddar), an Trinamool Congress candidate contesting the upcoming Parliamentary Elections.

 

This two-faced convert can be disqualified from contesting elections if the EC or Courts can be approached.

…..Afrin Ali will contest from Arambagh (SC reserved) constituency of Hooghly district. Formerly Aparupa Poddar, has now become a Muslim by accepting Islam after marriage, but her names has not changed in government documents yet and she will hence contest from the reserved SC seat.

Toha alleged that minorities had been deprived by the Trinamool during nomination of election candidates. The Pir said, “Of the seven Muslims candidates nominated by the Trinamool, I wouldn’t call its Arambagh nominee Afrin Ali a true Muslim.”
