Infosys is widely expected to lower revenue guidance as it enters the final three months of what will be a forgettable year for India’s second-largest software exporter.
When it announces financial results for the third quarter on Friday, the focus will shift to the next fiscal as IT services firms get better visibility into anticipated technology spending by their clients in the United States and Europe.
Analysts expect the Bangalore-based company to lower its sales growth forecast for the year to March 2013 to at least 4% from 5% earlier.
