BRICS Has To Restore Morality In An Over Selfish World Order With Out Being Anti West

BRICS summit held from 22nd- 24 th August in South Africa has created a euphoria in global south, long suffering from Western over selfishness and dominance since the demise of USSR . Presence of so many heads of states has raised hopes which will be difficult to fulfil without sustained hard work . But there is no single agency to pursue the agenda as it has been living from summit to summit.
The countries like Iraq , Syria ,Libya, Afghanistan etc. have been destroyed for no reason . African countries meetings are just being used as status symbols without solving their problems. Mindless hegemony seeking Ukraine war has pushed all small countries in serious debt trap with no relief. Hunger and food grain crisis is knocking at doors in Africa . Green energy is expensive . Developing countries need funds for switching to green energy which wars have usurped by Ukraine war. Covid showed the ugliest side of humanity where seven doses per person were kept in reserve before helping others. Only India provided the much needed succour to a limited extent.
Developing countries have paid an enormous price for the demise of USSR . There is need to change world to multipolar order again . Nations have to be made non UN ‘ Sanction Proof ‘ again and UN needs to be restored back to its original goals .
Given the limited resources available with developing world it is a very difficult task. BRICS can do it in spite of the limited size of member countries’ economies if China , Russia and India can agree to freeze their differences for ten years and do not display neo colonialist mindset because of their new found wealth . Territorial disputes can be also frozen for a decade for this greater goal. Similarly other big developing countries like Bangladesh, Nigeria , Brazil etc. must agree to share the burden as no one country can usher the change.
However it must be realised that West still controls the global institutions , economic resources and technology. A mindless confrontationist approach will be suicidal. West and developing world need each other for economic growth . One should work for 3.5 % global growth rate with at least one percent growth for every one . Ultimately it will slowly learn its lessons if BRICS can unite the leaders and can carry the media . West will try regime change, coups , Arab Spring type sabotage ,sanctions on frivolous trumped up human right issues like Religious freedom, LGBQT or gender equality etc . BRICS Leaders will have to guide the smaller nations through sane advice in such artificially induced crisis .
China with its military and economic advantage can be a great help but unfortunately it has set neo colonialist goals and is involved in man made territorial disputes with all its neighbours and is hated by them. Putin is a wonderful visionary leader but has set his sights on old USSR and will be a pariah with western block for many years . India does not have so much military or economic muscles but it has trust and enlightened thinking required for uniting smaller nations.
So it is the old lame and blind men story . Collectively all the resources required for creating a multi polar world are available with BRICS.
A great leader can deliver the great goal of sanction proof, multipolar world ,alive to poor countries’ needs
but where is he !
