Truth About Indian Muslim’s Grievances

Dear Shri Talmiz Ahmad,

Subject: Truth About Indian Muslim’s GrievancesD C Nath

Your write-up in the edit-page of “The Asian Age” of January 8, 2015, is, as we see, a fairly incorrect account, and may thus aggravate the existing hiatus between the Hindus and the Muslims in India.

Talking about provocations by majority community leaders, please read through the statements made by eminent Muslim leaders in the attached mail of ours sent out on May 23, 2014, on: “Muslim Leaders Speak on Hindus National Security Integrity Threatened.

Then, how incorrect is your assertion that Indian Muslim militants showed little concern in pursuing a proper jihadi vision will be clear from the first part of your own mail. The tall Muslim leader from UP assured, jumping with joy with the announcement of the Islamic Caliphate by the ISIS, to Saudi Arabia that he was prepared to provide 50 lakh Sunni volunteers towards the formation of a world Jihadi force. This is one concrete example that global jihad has its immediate impact on India. You would also be aware that soon after the exposure of the Jamaat plan after the chance explosion on 0ctober 2 earlier this year in Burdwan district in the State of West Bengal, Al Qaeda declared its own Caliphate of West Bengal, a State now fully under Islamic domination—thanks to its intense bhai-bandi of the State government with the Jamaati elements, primarily from Bangladesh, that is going to be her nemesis. In any case, does all these support that “global jihad will find little appeal in India?”

Talking of grievances of the Indian Muslims, it is nothing but a complete myth. Your statement that “Indian Muslim militancy has been entirely instigated by domestic grievances” is miles away from reality, Today, it is a common knowledge that the Indian Muslim are better off than their Hindu counterparts in at least four globally accepted human development indices, including urbanisation, considered as sure indicator of developed status. And, thanks to the openly followed minority appeasement policy of the governments, especially after the utterly “false and and factually incorrect report“, of the Sachar Committee, they are in effect the “sons-in laws” of the country, with no one among them willing to go out to settle down in any Muslim countries even provided all facilities.

Then, Shri Talmiz Ahmadji, why are you suppressing the fact that “love jihad” is an essential part of your religion? As a Muslim, is it not incumbent on you to convert all non-believers into Islam, by means foul or fair? Does not “love jihad” fall in this category? Well, Sir, we have studied the subject and have brought out a small but authentic publication on it. We will be happy to send a copy of that you as a special case.

By referring to “deliberate provocations” by Hindus (you have carefully avoided using this term) under the present dispensation, you have again courted falsehood. You have perhaps in mind the “Ghar Wapasi” programme taken up by the RSS and others. That this “Ghar Wapasi” is hardly any issue has been brought out by us in a recent mail, titled, “Fanfare Over “Ghar Wapasi” And Futile Debate Over It When No Scope Exists”. Its copy is also attached for clarification.

More recently, a German scholar (Maria Wirth) has beautifully explained that both the Christians and Muslims are keen and duty- bound to proselytise but would not agree to concede that right to the Hindus. Do you, Sir, also belong to that category that conversion is your birth-right and yours only? Why would you then not agree to an Anti-Conversion Act? Indeed, we all are His/Her children having the same rights and privileges on birth!

Sir, we hope we have not hurt you or your religious sentiments. All that we have attempted is to put things in what we feel correct perspective. We shall consider it a privilege in case you will have the time and inclination to go through our mails and then to tell us if and where we have gone wrong. That will be great education for us.

Thanking you and with best regards,

D.C. Nath
